We are very honoured to have been involved in the
prestigious project of a 42+m all teak superyacht
commissioned just before this Chinese New Year.
The yacht is very strongly built and beautifully finished.
The perseverance with details and perfection by the owner
is beyond belief by everyone involved, particularly at the
seemingly end of the wooden boat era when skilled wooden
boat builders are so scarce. The yacht sails smoothly and
gracefully, achieving a good speed for her size and
displacement.
Foilborne supplied two ZF3350 3.519:1 marine transmissions
and Centa CX-66-LFS2 Super Elastic couplings to couple to
CAT C32 engines, ZF CruiseCommand 3-station electronic
controls and WYNN straight line window wipers. The combination
provides a powerful yet smooth and quiet propulsion to the yacht.
We also assisted in the completion and upgrading of the
hydraulic bow-thruster and windlass systems.
